A staple of Leavenworth and one of those places you must stop by when visiting the area. There's usually lines, but you get your order fairly quickly. This last visit I got their Big Bob Bratwurst and my wife got their chicken and spinach sausage, and we both thoroughly enjoyed. She appreciated they have options for people who don't want pork or beef. I don't know how many mustard options and other toppings they have, but guarantee they'll have what you want and more. Also got spiced cider since it was cold that morning, and that was a perfect combo. Fair warning that the seating is all outdoors so bundle up during cold and inclement weather. There are some tables with fires and heat lamps, but not all.

We had the The Big Bob Bratwurst, Spinach Organic Chicken & Big City Beef Frank. All were pretty good! The best part is the plethora of Specialty Mustards and the Haus Made Famous Apple Cider Sauerkraut.

One of our fav bratwurst place in leavenworth. Normally there's always a long line especially on sunny weekend, but not today..lucky Food is always great. Plenty of condiments like hot sauerkrout, relish, chopped onion and so many different of sauce. There's self serve free water, utensils etc. Plenty of seating, both upstairs and downstairs. It's open air area. So if it happens to rain when you arrive, there's some area that covered. It all first come first serve. If you come in cold winter or fall, there's a heater you can turn it on yourself or seat by their table fireplace. When you wait in line, you told the person that taking your order , he or she will give you the order stub to give the person in the cashier. You pay, then they will give your the buzzer for you to pick up the food when it buzz. For beers, you can buy directly in the bar area in the midst of the seating area. Restrooms: both male and female We ordered: The Big Bob Helga giant kalbasi Big city beef frank Vegan chili comes with 2 crackers I love the toasted bun.

Ordered the organic chicken and spinach and it was delicious! I paired with a bunch of sauces (spicy mustard), and apple cider sauerkraut, and pickled jalepenos. I love how all the toppings are self serve so you can put as much as you would like. I went on a Saturday so it was quite busy and crowded and there was about a 15 minute wait time for my bratwurst to be ready. I love the variety of options of bratwurst and sauces this restaurant offers. There's quite a bit of bench seating and if you're lucky, you'll get to sit next to the fireplaces! I would come back to this restaurant when visiting Leavenworth

Wow! What a gem! Was staying in Leavenworth for the weekend and really wanted a *vegetarian* hot dog. We'd been here all weekend and this place always had a line but we got lucky on Sunday in the afternoon. I got a veggie dog with vegetarian chili. They had so many delicious sauces so make sure you try them! And everything was absolutely delicious.

Second time at Leavenworth but first time at Munchen Haus. I've heard a lot about this place from my friends who come often and it was great. There were different kinds of brats, mustards and condiments. I got the best seller Big Bob and I loved it but my friends who've been here before mentioned the bread changed. Bread was breading Chili and pretzel were both delicious. If you want beer, you can order near the dining area and there are tons of options. I ordered the hefeweizen and it was solid. Service was nice and friendly. There's only outside dining but there were fire tables and heat lamps to help with the cold. Would come again!!

Definitely deserving of the hype! I ordered the veggie bratwurst, which looked underwhelming at first glance. But it became an elevated meal once I added all my toppings from the self-serve condiment bar! They offered so many unique mustard flavors, and each one I tried was super tasty (and I don't normally like mustard). The pretzel was also delicious. It was so soft and buttery, and not overly salty. The Beecher's cheese sauce tasted exactly like the mac and cheese from the OG shops, and it was soooo yummy. Their service is great and they are very efficient. The line is so long but they get through it fairly quickly. They have staff walking around regularly to bus tables. There is ample seating downstairs and upstairs. There is a bathroom that is kept decently clean even with all the visitors. This meal was so warm and comforting in the cold winter months! Definitely recommend coming here when you're visiting Leavenworth.

Excellent Biergarten with delicious food, a cozy ambiance, and friendly service! München Haus exudes the apres ski lifestyle (just without the ski part). Fresh mountain air, flowing glasses of beer, and several outdoor fire tables give a snow resort feel. The German style food is simple but excellent. There are also numerous self-serve condiments and sauerkraut to enhance your meal. While you're waiting for food, grab a beer, which is sold at the center bar. I had the house beer, which was light and refreshing--a perfectly pairing with a sausage and pretzel. Seating is first-come, first-serve. I came on a busy, but not crowded day, and waited for my food for about 15-20 minutes. Not too bad! You also order and pickup food at a counter so plan seat-finding and drinks accordingly.

It was a busy day. We waited for about 45 minutes to order our food. We got three popular dishes - bratwurst, kielbasa, and jalapeño cheddar sausage. I liked the jalapeño cheddar the most. I also had potato salad, hot spiced apple cider, hot chocolate and a pretzel. I wasn't a fan of their potato salad. There were so many types of mustard to choose from. I liked champagne honey mustard. Their hot apple cider kraut was great, not too sour or sweet. I ate some as a side dish. The beer garden was crowded but we managed to find a table with fire place. The line to order drinks wasn't long at all. I loved mulled wine, perfect for a cold winter day. Overall it's a great place for some German food. The only downside is that you have to get in line again if you want to order more food.
